PLJBD's diverse portfolio showcases their expertise in designing a wide array of recreational facilities, encompassing everything from functional school gyms and locker rooms to comprehensive fitness centers, demonstrating their adaptability to various project scopes and styles across different locations.
Millennium Fitness
- This award-winning facility includes indoor and outdoor tennis courts, locker rooms and weight rooms. The second floor serves as a pro-shop, lounge, and gallery viewing for the many national tournaments they have hosted.
- Phase 2 included an outdoor aquatic center with zero depth entry play area, competitive swim lanes and a water slide.
Jung Field Renovations
This historic 90-year-old stadium needed a major renovation and modernization. This project was phased to meet the school’s budget. To accommodate an 8 lane – 400-meter track.
The renovation included the following features:
- New Fieldhouse Locker Room with FEMA 361 Shelter and Concession
- New Concession/Restroom Building
- New Sound System
- New Artificial Turf
- New 8 Lane – 400 Meter polyurethane Track
- New 300 Car Parking Lot
- New Ticket Plaza
- Existing Concrete Stadium was Waterproofed and Safety Railing was Added
- New Ramps and Accessible Seating
Bearskin Wellness Center
Owned by the Wyandotte Nation, the Bearskin Wellness Center received a major renovation including:
- New check-in desk and shop
- New conference / classroom
- Totally renovated locker rooms
- New kitchen
- New pool mechanical system.
